DELECTO GRILL
A hot item!
Imagine! It's 35° in the shade, and there you are
on your balcony, ice tea in hand, enjoying the summer
sunshine next to your wood-burning grill.
Fiery features
What could be better than a summer barbecue? Unfortunately,
those bulky propane tanks can explode in a fire. That's
why many places prohibit their use on balconies. And because
charcoal briquettes don't burn up completely in a barbecue,
they produce highly toxic carbon monoxide (CO).
This little barbecue, on the other hand, has all kinds
of hot features. It's light, compact, environmentally
friendly, safe and, above all, highly efficient!
Good to the last ash
This grill works using a method used and proven for thousands
of years: a wood fire! A forced-air system powered by
batteries or an electrical adapter keeps the fire blazing
all the time, so that 99% of the wood is consumed. This
nearly complete combustion gives off no toxic fumes and
leaves no more ash than a cigarette. The heat produced
by the burning wood reaches 540°C in under two minutes.
Another advantage is the extra flavour that the wood (maple,
apple, cherry, oak, etc.) imparts to the meat. Something
gas barbecues just can't do!
Burning with desire
In fact, when Philippe Daubois tasted food cooked on this
grill he was so impressed that... he bought the company!
And he points out that the ice storm in 1998 would have
been much tougher for him if he hadn't set up one of these
grills in his fireplace.
Thanks!
