5th birthday TELUS is offering the public a free
day of activities at the Montréal Science Centre

Montréal, April 21, 2005
– On Sunday, May 1, 2005, the Montréal Science Centre turns five years old. As part of the festivities, and to celebrate its new partnership with the Montréal Science Centre, TELUS is offering the public free access to all regular activities. This is a first for the Centre, which has welcomed over two million visitors since it opened in 2000. For this special day, kids and their families will be able to see the IMAX® film Mystery of the Nile, take part in the many interactive activities of the Centre’s three permanent exhibitions, visit the new exhibition X-treme Rotation, and play the Interactive Movie Game Sharks, Predator or Prey?

“This special day at the Montréal Science Centre represents an opportunity to celebrate innovation and creativity, and to give kids and families a chance to get acquainted with science and technology, while having fun! TELUS is proud to be associated with this initiative as presenting sponsor of the Montréal Science Centre,” said Hugues St-Pierre, President and CEO of TELUS Québec. TELUS, the Old Port of Montréal and the Montréal Science Centre have a $7.5 million partnership over the next 10 years.

Visitors should arrive early as space will be limited, especially for representations of the IMAX® film and Interactive
