How to get to the Montréal Science Centre
The Montréal Science Centre is located on King
Edward Pier, in the Old Port. The Pier is essentially
the extension of Saint-Laurent Boulevard, south of de
la Commune Street.

BY METRO:
- The Montréal Science Centre is a 10-minute
walk from the Place d'Armes (the nearest) and Champ-de-Mars
metro stations.
- In both cases, walk toward Old Montréal (keeping
your back to downtown), as far as de la Commune Street.
- The Science Centre is at the corner of de la Commune
Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard.
BY BUS:
Bus 55 SOUTH (Saint-Laurent) - stop at Saint-Laurent Blvd and Saint-Jacques West Street then continue south
Starting June 23, take a seat on the STM’s 515 – Vieux-Montréal/Vieux-Port bus.

From the North Shore
Autoroute 13 :
- Follow the road south to the Métropolitaine
Autoroute (40 East)
- Follow the indications to go east until you get to
the Décarie Autoroute (15 South)
- Take the Décarie up to the Ville-Marie Autoroute
(720 East)
- Go east until you get to the Berri - Saint-Laurent exit
- Turn right until you reach de la Commune Street
- Turn right again and continue until you get to the corner
of Saint-Laurent Boulevard: the Science Centre is on your
left
Autoroute 15 :
- Follow the road south to the Métropolitaine
Autoroute (40 West)
- Follow the indications to go west until you get to
the Décarie Autoroute (15 South)
- Take the Décarie up to the Ville-Marie Autoroute
(720 East)
- Go east until you get to the Berri - Saint-Laurent
exit
- Turn right until you reach de la Commune Street
- Turn right again and continue until you get to the
corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard: the Science Centre
is on your left
From the South shore
Via the Champlain Bridge :
- Take the Wellington exit, then follow the signs to
Old Montréal
- The street that runs alongside the Old Port is called
de la Commune
- The Montréal Science Centre is easy to see,
on your right at the corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard
and de la Commune Street
Via the Victoria Bridge :
- About one kilometre after coming off the bridge, turn
right, onto Mill Street (across from the shopping centre)
- Follow this street to de la Commune (you'll cross
a small canal)
- Turn right and you'll soon see the Montréal
Science Centre, at the corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard
and de la Commune Street, in the Old Port
Via the Jacques-Cartier Bridge :
- Keep to the right as you come off the bridge
- At the first traffic lights (de Maisonneuve Boulevard),
turn right and continue on de Maisonneuve, keeping to
the left
- You'll cross Amherst and Saint-Hubert streets, among
others
- Turn left on Berri Street, which will take you directly
to de la Commune Street, in Old Montréal
- Then turn right, and continue to Saint-Laurent Boulevard,
where you'll see the Montréal Science Centre
From downtown
- Berri, Saint-Urbain, de Bleury (du Parc Avenue, north
of Sherbrooke) and McGill (Beaver Hall Hill, north of
Viger) will all lead you to de la Commune Street, which
runs along in front of the Old Port
- The Montréal Science Centre is located at the
corner of de la Commune Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard |
